Seeds of Hope Wilson Scholarship
In Spring, 2021 an endowed scholarship was established at Wilson Community College. This scholarship is needs based with priority given to applicants who attended Vick Elementary School or are the parents of a student at Vick. If no applicant meets these criteria, any student with need will be selected. The award is $1,000 per academic year given as $500.00 per semester.
Coral Ochoa, the second recipient of the Seeds of Hope Wilson scholarship in 2021. Priscilla Morello, past Executive Director of SOHW, and Peggie Shultz, Past Chair of SOHW Board, attended the awards ceremony at Beddingfield High School.
