Jim is a long-time resident of Wilson and served our community a a law enforcement officer for 28 years.  While working for the Sheriff's Office, Jim served on the boards of several local and state non-profit organizations, as well as Wilson CrimeStoppers and Wilson County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.  In these roles Jim worked with financial matters, fundraising and organizing events such as 5K races, raffles, auctions, and golf tournaments.  He has also worked closely with the Wilson County School System as a School Resource Officer and SRO supervisor, and teaching Gang Resistance Education and Training to seventh graders.

Jim has been our Executive Director since January 2021.  He recently thanked the Seeds of Hope Board for the opportunity to serve in this position, and wrote, "My vision is to see Seeds of Hope grow stronger and more sound.  I know Seeds of Hope's success is largely due to the many hands from this great community.  I look forward to this challenge.  Continue to serve Seeds of Hope as you always have."
